LinkedIn Optical Projection Tomography group
Bertrand Vernay, Light Microscopy Facility Manager at the Developmental Biology Unit, UCL Institute of Child Health, has created a LinkedIn Optical Projection Tomography group to which all OPT users and collaborators are invited to join. The formation of the group presents an opportunity for discussion of all OPT related topics including sample preparation, hardware, imaging and image processing.

OPT images feature in Cell Picture Show
Beautiful plant images produced using OPT have been featured in the latest Cell Picture Show. The images, created by Karen Lee, Jerome Avondo, Andrew Bangham and Enrico Coen from the John Innes Centre, Norwich are items 8, 10 and 11 of a group of fifteen showcased. The images will also feature in a Daily Mail article in early October.…Read more…
OPT at Digestive Disease Week in San Diego
MRCT’s Development Gap Funded work on colorectal cancer is to be presented twice at Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in San Diego, 19th to 22nd May 2012.
MRCT received a Development Gap Fund award in August 2010 to evaluate the diagnostic potential of OPT in the diagnosis of colorectal polyps. This two year project is being carried out in collaboration with the University of Dundee, NHS Tayside and the MRC Biostatistics Unit.
